Bulleit Bourbon is a classic American whiskey that has been around since the 1830s. Made using a traditional sour mash process, the bourbon is made up of corn, rye, and malted barley sourced from the Midwest. It is then aged in charred oak barrels for a minimum of six years, which imparts flavors of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The high rye content gives the bourbon a bold and spicy flavor, with notes of cinnamon, clove, and pepper. It has a smooth and warming finish, with a slight sweetness that lingers on the palate. Bulleit Bourbon is perfect for sipping neat or mixing into cocktails, making it a great choice for those who enjoy a whiskey with a bit of a kick.

Tasting notes

Bulleit Bourbon is inspired by the whiskey pioneered by an old family recipe over 150 years ago. Only ingredients of the very highest quality are used. The subtlety and complexity of Bulleit Bourbon come from its unique blend of rye, corn, and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast and pure Kentucky limestone filtered water. Due to its especially high rye content, Bulleit Bourbon has a bold, spicy character with a finish that's distinctively clean and smooth.

Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor.

Cocktail Recipe

Bulleit Boulevardier

Ingredients:
- 60 ml Bulleit Bourbon
- 30 ml Campari
- 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
- Orange peel for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Add Bulleit Bourbon, Campari, and Sweet Vermouth.
3. Stir for 30 seconds.
4. Strain into a chilled glass.
5. Garnish with an orange peel.
