Description

Château Meyney is a winery located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe in the Bordeaux region of France. It is one of the oldest wineries in the Médoc, with records of its existence dating back to 1661. The estate is owned by the Lurton family, who have been producing wines from the estate since the early 20th century.

Château Meyney produces a range of red wines from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grape varieties. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months before being bottled. The wines are known for their intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, and tobacco, with a full-bodied palate and a long finish.

The estate also produces a white wine from the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grape varieties. This wine is aged in oak barrels for 8 to 10 months before being bottled. It has aromas of citrus, white flowers, and honey, with a crisp and refreshing palate.

Château Meyney is a great example of the classic wines of the Médoc region. The wines are well-balanced and have a great structure, making them ideal for aging. They are a great choice for any occasion, whether it be a special dinner or a casual gathering. Enjoy a glass of Château Meyney and experience the unique flavors of the Médoc region.
