Founded in 1881 by Anton Jermann, a visionary winemaker from Austria, the winery is now run by the fourth generation of the Jermann family. Located in the Friuli region of northeastern Italy, Jermann produces a wide range of wines, including white, red, and sparkling varieties. Their flagship wine is the Were Dreams, a white wine made from a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Ribolla Gialla grapes. This complex and elegant wine is aged in oak barrels for 11 months and has a rich and creamy texture, with notes of tropical fruit, vanilla, and toasted oak. Other white wines produced by Jermann include the Vintage Tunina, a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, and Picolit grapes. Red wines produced by Jermann include the Red Angel, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months and has a rich and full-bodied flavor, with notes of black cherry, plum, and chocolate.
