The 15-year-old Malvasia has a straightforward aroma of toffee and clove, with a hint of under-ripe fruit. On the palate, it has a lively entrance with flavours of Chinese 5-spice and white pepper. It also features a good amount of toffee-flavoured fruit, as well as a precise and elegant finish that could benefit from more persistence.
