Casamigos was founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman in 2013. The trio set out to create a tequila that they could enjoy with friends and family, and after years of perfecting their recipe, Casamigos was born. The brand quickly gained popularity and was acquired by Diageo in 2017 for $1 billion.
