Shaw & Smith is an Australian winery located in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia. Founded in 1989 by Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith, the winery has become renowned for its high-quality Shiraz. The grapes used to make Shaw & Smith's Shiraz are sourced from the cooler climate vineyards of the Adelaide Hills, which helps to create a unique and complex flavour profile.

The wine is made using traditional winemaking techniques, such as open-top fermentation and extended maceration. This helps to bring out the intense fruit flavours of the Shiraz, as well as the subtle spice and pepper notes. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, which adds complexity and depth to the flavour.

Shaw & Smith's Shiraz is a full-bodied red wine with intense aromas of blackberry, plum and spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and velvety, with flavours of dark fruit, pepper and spice. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of oak. This is a classic Australian Shiraz that is sure to please any red wine lover.
