Numanthia is a full-bodied red wine that is produced in the Toro region of Spain. It is made from 100% Tinta de Toro grapes, which are known for their thick skins and intense flavor. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which gives it a complex and rich flavor profile.

On the palate, Numanthia is bold and powerful, with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and dark chocolate. It has a long and lingering finish, with firm tannins that give it structure and balance. This wine is perfect for those who enjoy big, bold reds that pack a punch.

The history of Numanthia dates back to the 19th century, when the winery was founded by a group of French winemakers. Today, the winery is owned by LVMH, the luxury goods conglomerate, and is known for producing some of the finest wines in Spain.

Numanthia is best enjoyed with hearty meat dishes, such as grilled steak or roasted lamb. It also pairs well with strong cheeses, such as aged cheddar or blue cheese. For the ultimate experience, we recommend decanting the wine for at least an hour before serving to allow it to fully open up and reveal its complex flavors.
