Description

Fortaleza Anejo

Fortaleza Anejo is a premium tequila that is aged for 18 months in American oak barrels. This process gives it a rich and complex flavour profile that is perfect for sipping or mixing in cocktails.

The history of Fortaleza dates back to the early 1900s when Don Cenobio Sauza, the founder of Sauza Tequila, built the first distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Today, Fortaleza is produced by Guillermo Sauza, the great-great-grandson of Don Cenobio, using traditional methods that have been passed down through generations.

Fortaleza Anejo has a smooth and velvety texture with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. It has a warm and spicy finish that lingers on the palate. This tequila is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it also makes a great base for cocktails like the classic Margarita or Old Fashioned.

Whether you're a tequila connoisseur or just looking to try something new, Fortaleza Anejo is a must-try. Enjoy it with friends at a dinner party or savour it on a quiet evening at home.
