The history of Fortaleza dates back to the early 1900s when Don Cenobio Sauza, the founder of Sauza Tequila, built the first distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Today, Fortaleza is produced by the fifth generation of the Sauza family, who continue to use traditional methods to create their tequila.

Fortaleza Reposado has a sweet and fruity aroma with notes of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, it has a smooth and creamy texture with flavours of cooked agave, oak, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and satisfying, with a subtle smokiness that lingers on the tongue.
