Tenuta Dell’Ornellaia is a renowned Italian winery located in the heart of Tuscany. Founded in 1981, the estate is renowned for its production of high-quality wines, including the iconic Le Volte. This wine is a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown in the estate’s vineyards in Bolgheri. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified separately, before being blended together to create a complex and balanced wine.

Le Volte is a medium-bodied red wine with a deep ruby colour. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, as well as hints of spices and herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with a good structure and a long finish. The wine is best enjoyed with grilled meats, pasta dishes and mature cheeses, making it the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
